Project Description: Construction of a 7-story building, consisting of 48 residential units with ground floor commercial.
Construction Activities: Major phases of construction to include the following :
● Demo of brick wall along Terminal Place, concrete slab and temporary shoring.
● Excavation and grading to follow for preparation of building foundation.
● Underground utilities.
● Forming and subsequent pouring of concrete foundation, walls and podium slab to occur.
● Five stories of vertical framing above 2 story concrete podium including exterior and interior building finishes.
● Site improvements including the landscaping, sidewalks, etc.
● Daily construction activities one can expect are use of hand tools (hammers, drills, etc.), hauling and hoisting of material, construction equipment such as bobcats, backhoes, reach lifts running for various activities.
Anticipated General Schedule:
● Demo/Grading (November 2021– December 2021)
● Concrete Construction & Utilities (December 2021 - February 2022)
● Framing (March 2022 - June 2022)
● Exterior (June 2022 - October 2022)
● Finishes (July 2022 - January 2023)
● Final completion (February 2023)
Daily Construction Schedule:
● Work will commence 7am - 4pm Monday through Saturday
● This project is approved for Saturday work 7am-4pm
● Expected Start: November 2021
● Expected Duration 16 months
